A massive congratulations to ex Titans player Ed Williams who after playing in the recent Grand Final defeat for Warrington v Wigan was selected to play for Lancashire v Yorkshire in game 1 of the Academy Origin series on Sunday.

Ed was playing at prop & played fantastic getting good game time in a victory for Lancashire defeating Yorkshire 30-14 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium at Warrington.

Game 2 is at the OneBore Stadium home of Castleford Tigers this Saturday.

Wishing Ed all the best for this one.

Titans primary teams finished off the season on a high with our presentation awards on Saturday afternoon.

The U6s, 7s, 8s & 9s all came together to receive awards & with their families & coaches to celebrate another successful season.

The U6s kicked it all off, receiving trophies for their efforts in their 1st year of tag rugby.
This cheeky bunch have really taken to the game well & have learnt the basics of defending as a line & making some fantastic tags throughout the season.
Learning how to change direction with ball in hand & to find space created good try scoring oppportunities for all & really pleased with their efforts.
Well done to all players for their hard work💪🏉

The rowdy U7 bunch had waited patiently & got their turn to receive their trophies.
In their second year of tag this group have continued to develop well & improve on both their attacking & defensive skills & are now a lot more composed in their rugby.

The U8s & 9s couldnt wait any longer for food so the buffet was made officially open & 30 minutes of carnage ensued.
A big thankyou to all the parents for bringing a plate & putting on a fantastic spread for us all😋👏

The U8s then got their turn for trophies & the main awards given for individual categories.
This group has now played their final season of tag rugby & will move into contact rugby next season to which a lot of players are looking forward to.
The U8s are a gifted bunch of players & this year have progressed enormously.
They certainly know how to find the try line through great footwork & latterly through good link up play & moving the ball through hands.
Tagging always seems effortless.

What a fantastic way to finish off a brilliant season! 💙

It’s been great to see how much every player has improved throughout the year, both individually and as a team. From big tackles and great tries to learning to work together and support each other, the progress has been brilliant.

A massive well done to every player for their effort, commitment and attitude throughout the season. 👏

A huge thank you to all the parents, families, coaches and volunteers for their fantastic support — junior rugby wouldn’t be possible without you.

Congratulations to all our award winners and well done to the whole team. You should all be very proud!

Titans U6s wrapped up their season on Sunday with a trip to Derwent Park for a festival with Glasson & Egremont.

We've had very little tag rugby throughout the summer due to holidays so was a great way to finish our season off before the Town v Haven derby game.

We've been concentrating on our defensive line mostly in training for the last 2 weeks & the players took this into their game on Sunday working hard for each other & making big improvements in closing attack down & making some important tags.
In attack we have some fast footed players who love scoring tries. When under pressure they now know how to create space for themselves & find the try line.

A fantastic 1st season getting used to the rules of tag rugby & laying down the foundations to be better & faster next season.
A group that have bonded so well together & made some great friendship in such a short time.
We've had a great time this season with a lot of fun along the way.
