Huge congratulations to George Lindsay, who achieved the incredible feat of an ALBATROSS at the 15th hole today! 🎉

One of the rarest achievements in golf, an albatross is certainly something to be proud of — and what a fantastic accomplishment for a thoroughly lovely guy.

⛳ VISITORS DAY 2026 ⛳

What a fantastic and successful Visitors Day we had yesterday!

As always, a day like this simply wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and commitment of so many people.

A huge thank you must go to David Watt, who puts an incredible amount of time and effort into organising the day for months beforehand. On behalf of everyone at Drumpellier Golf Club, we would like to thank David for the time and dedication he gives to the Club and to making Visitors Day such a success.

We would also like to thank all of David’s helpers who played their part throughout the day:

⭐ Kirsty Spence – for volunteering all day, selling raffles and keeping everyone going with drinks.

🍔 BBQ team – Lewis Russell, Alan Muir, Frank Connolly and Alan Black.

🍔 Hugh Pender – for supplying the nicest burgers in town!

⛳ Starters – Alex Findlay, David Spence, Eddie Lamont and Jim Watson.

🏆 Gerry McCabe & Wee Davie – for taking care of the cards and scoring.

A big thank you also goes to our bar, catering, Professional Shop and office teams for all their work both in the lead-up to Visitors Day and throughout the day itself.

And, of course, a huge thank you to our greens team for all their hard work in preparing and presenting the course.

It takes a real team effort to make a day like this happen, and we are extremely grateful to everyone who gave up their time and helped make Visitors Day 2026 such a success.

Finally, thank you to everyone who came along, supported the day and made it such an enjoyable one. We hope you all had a fantastic day at Drumpellier! ⛳👏

This Saturday is our clubs visitors Day and the kitchen will be open from 9am⛳️

There will be no bookings available on Saturday and the Golfer's Menu will be the only menu available for walk-ins🍴.

What a fantastic day at the Luddon Golf Day on Friday! ⛳️

We were delighted to host such a brilliant day of golf, great company and plenty of fun, while supporting Luddon in raising an incredible £40,000 for the British Heart Foundation. ❤️

A huge congratulations to Luddon on this fantastic achievement, and a big thank you to everyone who took part, sponsored, supported and helped make the day such a success.

It was a pleasure to be part of such a memorable event, and even better to see everyone come together for such an important cause. The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish, with plenty of great golf, good humour and some excellent company along the way!

Well done to everyone involved in making the Luddon Golf Day such a huge success.⛳♥️

⛳ 2.10pm – 1 team available

The day is a 2-person Texas Scramble, with a team made up of 1 member and 1 guest.

If you’d like to take one of the available tee times, please contact the Pro Shop to book.

And don’t forget, our Silent Auction in aid of Isla’s Army / Teenage Cancer Trust will also be running, with two fantastic fourballs up for grabs at Barassie Golf Club and East Renfrewshire Golf Club.
