π΄β«οΈ CRAFC REDS Vs Lanarkshire Community π΄β«οΈ
Now THAT was a performance! π₯β½οΈ
The Reds were very, very dominant from the first whistle, moving the ball brilliantly all over the park with confidence and purpose. π
When we lost possession, we hunted it straight back β quick, aggressive and relentless. That pressure created chance after chance, and in front of goal we were ruthless. π―
Defensively, we were strong for the most part too, with everyone putting in the work and doing their bit for the team.
A special mention for Sam, who stepped into goal yesterday morning and trialled himself between the sticks. π§€π
Lanarkshire eventually finished the game with 9 outfield players, but the Reds kept their focus and continued to play their football right to the end.
A brilliant performance and a great example of what happens when everyone is switched on, works for each other and plays with purpose. π₯
Plenty still to improve β and thatβs exactly what weβre here for.
We keep going. We keep learning. We keep getting better.

π΄β«οΈ CRAFC BLACKS vs Blantyre Academy π΄β«οΈ
A much better performance from the Blacks yesterday morning, with more attacking intent, goals on the board and plenty of positives to take. πβ½οΈ
But there are a couple of things we cannot stop talking aboutβ¦
BE BRAVE. πͺ
We need to be braver on the ball. Show for it, want it and be confident enough to make things happen.
Donβt hide from the football β demand it!
And just as importantly, we need the DESIRE TO WIN THE BALL BACK. π₯
When we lose possession, we canβt switch off. We need to react, chase, compete and fight to get it back. That first reaction matters.
Football isnβt just about having the ball β itβs about wanting it and working for it.
We need to work for each other, support each other and show the right attitude from the first whistle to the last.
There is plenty of ability in this group. Now we need to match that ability with bravery, desire and attitude.
Plenty to build on from yesterday morning. πͺ
Keep working. Keep learning. Keep fighting.
And remember boysβ¦
DONβT BE SCARED OF THE BALL β GO AND GET IT! π€π₯

π΄β«οΈ Blacks Vs Bellshill Yellows π΄β«οΈ
Well, that was certainly a game of two halves!
Up until around five minutes before half-time, we were right in the game at 1β1. We were holding our own, working well as a team and trying to get ourselves up the pitch. There were some really positive moments to build on.
Then came the second half.
I think, if weβre being honest, we forgot to be brave.
Our running stopped, we lost our shape and we werenβt picking players up quickly enough. We werenβt tackling hard enough or reacting fast enough when we lost the ball. And thatβs where we need to learn the biggest lessons.
We still had moments where we tried to get up the pitch and play our football, but football is about both sides of the game. We need to want to get back. We need to want to defend our goal. We need to be first to the ball, work for each other and keep going when the game gets difficult.
We need to get fitter. We need to get braver. And we need to want it when weβre defending.
The coaches can explain it, demonstrate it and keep reminding you β but eventually, we canβt do it for you once you step onto that pitch. That desire has to come from within.
It was a hard morning, no doubt about it. But hard mornings can teach you the most.
Heads up, boys. We learn, we work, we improve and we keep going. β«π΄πͺ
