What might once have looked like an awkward split has become one of the strongest and most unusual things about our membership.
JP’s Gym and Caleb’s Gym have grown into two standalone, fully equipped facilities.
Two Gyms. Two Minutes Apart. One Membership.
They aren’t identical copies, and one isn’t an overspill for the other. They are two different training environments designed to stand alone—and work even better together.
JP’S GYM
A focused, specialist bodybuilding, physique-development and powerlifting facility.
Every machine has been handpicked for a specific purpose, giving members access to Scotland’s best selection of specialist plate-loaded and pin-loaded equipment, alongside dedicated powerlifting facilities and a private posing room.
CALEB’S GYM
Built on the same equipment philosophy, within a more varied training environment combining bodybuilding, physique development and powerlifting with HYROX, conditioning and group training, including boxing, yoga and Pilates.
It also includes a dedicated no-filming machine area.
Train exclusively in either gym or build your programme across both.

This Saturday, 22nd August, the Scottish Powerlifting Summer Open comes to Caleb’s Gym.
The competition runs from 10am–5pm and we’re looking forward to welcoming all the lifters, coaches, friends and spectators through the doors.
We’ll also have plenty available throughout the day:
• Lauchedin Meal Prep
• Coffees, matcha and cookies
• Pitstop Nutrition, including pre-workouts, hydrates, protein powders, protein bars and more
• Fully stocked drinks fridge with water, Monster and more
If there’s anything from the Pitstop range you’d like us to have available on the day, let us know 👇.
It should be a cracking day and we can’t wait to see some huge lifts and a busy Caleb’s Gym.
See you Saturday.
Please note: Caleb’s main gym and group training area will be closed from 9am–5pm for the event. Classes will be running as normal.

COVID times.
This was a tough period for everyone.
All I could really do was keep looking for ways around whatever was put in front of me to continue supporting the members and my clients, while surviving and doing anything I could to keep the gym alive.
The story is all in these slides, but I do want to say thank you to everyone who supported JP’s for as long as they could through that period.
It genuinely helped not only keep the lights on, but allowed us to invest heavily in the reopening.
Also, a huge thank you to my clients who stuck with me too.
To think back on not only all the places we trained, but all the conditions we trained in, especially outside through the winter, that really meant a lot.
Stay tuned for our third year anniversary.

I’ve been holding off on adding a standing lateral raise because I wanted to make sure I went with the right one.
Decision made.
The Newtech Wellness OnHim standing Lateral Raise is coming to JP’s Gym Dec 2026.
Adjustable footrest height, moving handles that adapt to the user, multiple lateral raise variations and the option to use either wrist support or foam contact.
A very different way to train the delts and another specialist piece added to the gym.
