New skaters are always welcome of any level - see our page for our next intake. We'll teach you the game, teach you how to skate and we have kit for you to use too! For those that don't want the physical part of the game we also accommodate referees and Non Skating Officials so get involved!

Grimsby roller derby are hosting an intake for new members this November.
We're a club that encourages members to train hard, play for the win but has a lot of fun doing it. We are well known in our community for being a great team to play against, for our hard hits, tough game play and great banter. We train every Sunday morning at Grimsby Leisure Centre and play games at home, in Hull and all over the UK.

Can't skate! No worries, we will teach you.
Won't skate! Alrighty, let's get you officiating and keeping us in check.

We have limited kit available to hire for free whilst attending our sessions, so don't worry if you don't have kit and if we don't have it we will do our best to source it before.

💙GRD & HARD AWARDS NIGHT💚

On friday, Grimsby Roller Derby and Hulls Angels Roller Derby - HARD threw their annual themed awards night, this years theme was “A Midsummer Nights Jam”.

It was filled with merriment, wonder and of course, WHIMSY✨

A massive well done and congratulations to everyone who received an award!

Every single one was so well deserved. But awards or no awards, we hope everyone knows just how incredible they are and how proud we are to share this little derby kingdom with them. 👑

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening happen, too. From the organisers and officials to the volunteers, skaters and everyone working their magic behind the scenes, you helped create an evening we won’t forget. 🌙💫

Friday night was a beautiful reminder of what derby is all about: community, friendship, ridiculous amounts of fun and finding your people. 🖤

So thank you for joining us on our little midsummer adventure.

THE WEEKEND IN WILTSHIRE 💙

The Brothers Grim are home following their weekend away down in Wiltshire for their 2nd and 3rd 5N games this season, and what a cracking weekend it was!

Filled with hard work, fight, strength, and most importantly love, support and whole lot of laughter. 💙

“I’m so proud, I’ve been brought to happy tears more than once this weekend, the work this team puts in, the support they give to each other and the Derby community, and their passion for the sport and each other is just a total dream to be around, it’s an honour to Captain them, and to see their dedication pay off in the results is beautiful”

Whilst we were away, we had the pleasure of celebrating two birthday, one for our fierce Melon Collie, and the other for our honorary Brother, Tom, who kept the spirit alive for us in the crowd all weekend! 🎂

And a very big thank you to and for hosting such a great event this weekend, and to Wiltshire and for being formidable opponents, and to for always being great people and a team we should all look up to.
To the Officials, NSOs, Volunteers, Medics, you are the community, and we are lucky to you have you. ♥️

C'est magnifique! 🇫🇷🌎🛼

It's the Mens Roller Derby World Cup in Orleans, France and our wonderful friends and team mates have travelled to join in the excitement.

After celebrating officiating over, now 200 games, our Peacebreaker is using their talents to officiate the World Cup and our Legislation Annihilation is volunteering to support the event too! Bravo! 👏

Championing their partners and team cheer squad are our Julie and Ruby! 🥰 Not forgetting the cutest cheerleader of all Rowan whose probably been to more roller derby events than most of us!

Also, 👏👏👏👏 loving that your repping Brothers kit today too!

Have the most wonderful experience everyone, we are really proud of you and keep cheering when we see you on our tellys! 👏💚💙🥰
