🏏 1ST XI OFF THE MARK IN DIVISION 3! 🏏

A brilliant result for the lads today as Church Eaton 1st XI picked up their first win of the season in Division 3, beating Longton CC 2nd XI by 8 wickets at The Glebelands.

After restricting Longton to 119/9, Eaton chased it down calmly, finishing on 120/2, with Dan Smith leading the way with an unbeaten 50.

🔧 ECB GET SET WEEKEND – THIS WEEKEND! 🔧

This Saturday & Sunday we’re asking all members, players, parents and supporters to come down and help get the club ready for the 2026 season 🏏

We’ve already made a great start… but there’s still plenty to do both inside and out 💪
🗓 Saturday – from 9:30am
🗓 Sunday – from 8:30am

Sunday is also the Church Eaton Chase 10k Charity Run & Fun Run, so we’ll need help getting the pavilion ready to serve breakfasts — and we’re also looking for a few marshalls 👍

There’s a job for everyone, including: 🎨 Painting & touch-ups
🧹 Pavilion clean & prep
🌱 Nets, sightscreens & ground work
🪑 Setting out tables & benches
🏃 Setting up the junior fun run
Even if you can only spare an hour, it all helps 🙌
☕ Refreshments available for all volunteers
Let’s get the club looking spot on ahead of the new season!
