🐴 HORSEBOX RAMP GETTING STIFF, HEAVY OR HARD TO LIFT? 🚨
DON’T WAIT UNTIL IT FALLS OFF!
Your horsebox ramp takes a lot of punishment. Mud, water, road salt, constant use and general wear and tear can all lead to corrosion, seized hinges, worn springs and weakened box sections.
And the worrying thing is… a lot of the damage can be hidden until it becomes a serious problem.
Over the past year, we’ve had a rather alarming number of horseboxes through our doors with ramp issues, including:

🔧 Worn, broken or weakened ramp springs
🔧 Corrosion around mounting and pivot points
🔧 Damaged ramp frames
🔧 Ramps becoming excessively heavy or difficult to operate
🔧 And yes… ramps that have actually fallen off! 😳
We’ve even had horseboxes come into us with the ramp lying inside the horse area because it had completely fallen off! 😳
