Olivemead lake

Olivemead lake The Mead is a pretty 3 acre UK carp fishing venue and has been family run since 2007.

Olivemead has 5 lodge swims and holds around 170+ carp (80+x 20lb+, 60x 30lb+ and 6x 40lb+ carp) The men’s lake record is 47lb 2oz & the ladies’ record is 43lb.

A nice result for Karl, who’s fishing out of Oak Lodge with his wife.
He had an early morning run which resulted in this superb mirror, weighing in at a fantastic 31lb 5oz and is looking in pristine condition.

Another superb 30+…..

Here’s Jacob, who’s fishing from Sadies Lodge, and after losing a couple to hook pulls, has landed another Mead banger.

This cracking mirror tipped the scales at 30lb 4oz and is looking pristine👌

And a very young one too….

Steve, who’s fishing out of Willows Lodge with his wife Pam, landed one of our superb, young mirrors.

Looking mint and weighing in at 28lb 8oz, this is a carp which we have high hopes for.
It has the genetics, frame and youth in its armoury and is definitely one to watch💪.

Another superb Common for Courtney, who’s fishing out of Willows Lodge with her partner Corey.

Lodge hopping is a really great way to learn our lake and this Common is Courtney’s 3rd of her lodge hop session.
Looking mint and weighing in at well over 19lb, this young beauty is definitely going in the right direction💪.

Here’s Corey, who fished out of Main Lodge with his partner Courtney for an overnighter, and not to be outdone he landed himself a banger.

This superb mirror weighed in at 24lb+ and is looking mint, also bringing the ‘Carping Couples’ tally to 1-1.

Things did slow up a little, but Callum kept the faith.

Fishing out of Sadie’s Lodge with his partner, Callum had a mad, last few hours , where he landed 3, this being his 4th Carp.

This superb Mirror went 24lb+ and was one of 3 in a morning for Callum before his session finished, it sometimes happens like that.

Excellent angling skills Callum, well done mate👌👏👏👏😁👍
