🌟 SWIMMING TEACHER / COACH WANTED 🌟
Manchester & North West Disability Swim Club
Are you a passionate swimming teacher or coach who wants to make a real difference? 💙
We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic and inclusive Swimming Teacher / Coach to join our disability swim club.
📍 Pool: Wright Robinson Sports College, Manchester
📅 Day: Wednesdays
⏰ Time: 6:00pm–8:00pm
📚 Sessions: Term time only
💷 Pay: £17 per hour
🏊‍♂️ The role includes:
• Teaching and coaching disabled swimmers of varying abilities
• Adapting sessions to individual needs
• Helping swimmers develop confidence and swimming skills
• Creating fun, engaging and inclusive sessions
• Working positively with swimmers, families and our team
• Being comfortable getting in the water when needed to support swimmers
⭐ We’re looking for someone who is:
✔️ Qualified and experienced in swimming teaching/coaching
✔️ Passionate about disability swimming and inclusion
✔️ Patient, caring and enthusiastic
✔️ Reliable and a great team player
✔️ Confident and comfortable in the water when required
✔️ Committed to safeguarding and creating a safe environment

Bambers Inclusive Swimming is looking for a caring, reliable and organised self-employed Welfare Officer to support the wellbeing, safeguarding and compliance of our swimmers, families, staff and volunteers.
🏠 Flexible / remote working with occasional pool visits
⏰ Variable, flexible hours
💼 Self-employed, paid position – rate to be discussed
What you’ll be doing:
• Acting as a point of contact for welfare and safeguarding concerns
• Supporting swimmers, families, staff and volunteers
• Maintaining confidential welfare and safeguarding records
• Monitoring DBS checks, safeguarding training and renewal dates
• Following up on compliance requirements
• Promoting strong safeguarding and welfare practices
• Attending occasional swimming sessions when required
We’re looking for someone who is:
❤️ Caring, approachable and a good listener
🔐 Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
📋 Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
💬 Confident communicating with children, families, staff and volunteers
🛡️ Able to recognise and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns
♿ Passionate about inclusion and creating a safe, welcoming environment
Experience in welfare, safeguarding, compliance, swimming, disability or community work would be an advantage.

🏊 Swimming Teachers Wanted – Otley 🏊

After a successful summer school, Bambers Inclusive Swimming are excited to be continuing our sessions at Chippendale Pool in Otley from September – and we’re looking for people to join the team!

We’re looking for qualified swimming teachers, as well as people aged 16+ who might be interested in training to become a swimming teacher.

Working with Bambers offers:

⭐ Great rates of pay
⭐ The chance to learn alongside our resident Occupational Therapist and experienced swimming teachers
⭐ Opportunities to complete further qualifications and CPDs
⭐ Experience of a different, inclusive approach to swimming teaching
⭐ Swimming teacher training bursaries available – for the right people, Bambers can fund your swimming teacher qualification in return for an agreed number of teaching hours.

Our Otley lessons will run on Saturday afternoons from September.
