4 of us enjoyed an eclipse paddle on Wednesday, equipped with our 1999 eclipse glasses. Keith picked a tub of blackberries and we picked up a lot of rubbish. Photos by Carl taken with glasses over the lens..

Message from Surfers Against Sewage :
Sick from swimming in polluted water?
Water lovers across the UK keep getting sick from sewage pollution. But there is still no national system for recording this. So we’re collecting thousands of sickness reports to build the evidence needed to demand water companies clean up their act.
Have you felt sick after being in the water? We’re so sorry if you have. Take 5 minutes to fill in the form below to tell us your story and help fill a crucial evidence gap. Every report helps build a clearer picture of the impact of water pollution on people’s health.
The information you provide will be used in our sickness report analysis, supporting our work with researchers, clinicians, and public health experts to better understand the health impacts of polluted water and inform future campaigning and policy. Read our privacy policy to understand how your information is used and protected.

A beautiful evening for CCC Friday club paddle. Two groups set out, one led by Keith up Fishbourne Creek then down to Bowling Racing mark and back to DQSC club house, for a drink or two. The second group led by Dave and Ian for new paddlers also had a great time.
