🔥⚽️ What a day for Tupton U9 Gold! ⚽️🔥

The boys headed to the Wingerworth JSA Tournament today and came away as TOURNAMENT WINNERS! 🏆

They played some brilliant teams throughout the tournament, with some fantastic football being played by all the teams involved. Every game was hard fought, but our boys showed exactly what they’re made of. 💪🏼

And in final and the boys pulled out a brilliant 2–0 victory! 🙌🏼

And what made it even more special… OUR KEEPER SCORED! 🧤⚽️🔥

This is the boys’ first ever tournament win, and they absolutely 100% deserved it! 🏆

The teamwork, effort, determination and fight shown by every single one of them today was outstanding. They worked for each other, never gave up and played some fantastic football from start to finish.

We’re starting up a Last Man Standing to help raise funds for our boys and support the team throughPaul Mellars on! 💛🖤

If you’d like to take part and help support our U9s, please contact Paul Mellars, comment on this post or send us a message, and we’ll add you to the group chat.

📋 The Rules

💷 £5 entry

⚽️ Choose one team each week from the Premier League or League Two.

❌ If your chosen team loses or draws, you’re out!

🏆 The last person standing wins the prize pot!

🔄 Rollover: If everyone is knocked out in the same week, the prize pot rolls over and everyone starts again.

💰 If there is a rollover, any new players joining that week will pay double the entry fee (£10).

Every entry helps support our boys, so get involved, have some fun and see who can be the Last One Standing! 🏆⚽️

🟡⚽ Farewell, Owen ⚫️⚽

Today we say goodbye to Owen, who has made the difficult decision to leave Tupton.

Fittingly, Owen played his final games for Tupton today at a tournament, and what a way to finish! 💪🏼 He rounded off his time with the team by grabbing a goal and an assist – a perfect reflection of the player he’s become.
Owen has been an incredible player and it has been an absolute privilege to watch him grow, develop and progress throughout his football journey. We’ve loved being a part of that journey and couldn’t be prouder of everything he’s achieved.

He’ll be hugely missed by everyone in the team – his teammates, the coaches and all the parents. His positive attitude, commitment and talent have made a lasting impact on our team.

A special mention also goes to his dad, Mark. His dedication has been second to none. Even when Owen couldn’t make a game, Mark was still there supporting the team from the sidelines. That level of commitment and support never went unnoticed, and he’ll be just as missed as Owen.

We’d like to thank you both for everything you’ve given to Tupton. We wish Owen every success with his new team – they’re not only gaining a fantastic footballer but also an amazing dad to have around the club.

⚽️ OPEN TRAINING CANCELLED TONIGHT ⚽️

Unfortunately, due to the high temperatures and heatwave conditions, tonight’s Open Training session has been cancelled.

The safety and wellbeing of all players is our priority, and we feel it’s best to avoid training in the extreme heat.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the next week! 💛🖤

⚽️ U9 Tupton Tournament ⚽️

A fantastic effort from the boys today at the U9 tournament! 👏

They dug deep, worked incredibly hard, and put in a great performance against some very strong teams. Every player gave 100%, battled for every ball, and showed great determination throughout the day. 💪⚽️

After some brilliant team performances, the boys made it through to the quarter-finals, which is something they should all be proud of! 👏

A huge well done to all the players for their hard work, teamwork, and attitude. Also, thank you to all the parents and supporters who cheered the boys on throughout the day. 🖤💛
