When results become everything, confidence becomes fragile.
Because if winning means you’re good…..
What does losing mean??
Your child is more, much more than their last result.
Help them focus on progress learning and things they can control.
The result matters, but it should never be allowed to define them 👊

One bad race
One bad result
One mistake
None of those things have to define your rider.
What matters is the meaning they give to it
Is it proof that they’re not good enough?
Or is it feedback showing them what they need to work on?
The result is the result.
The story you tell yourself about it is a choice 👊
Have you ever considered that we learn nothing from winning?
We learn everything from losing
So that loss that feels really terrible right now, will probably teach you more than winning ever would.
So how bad is it really?
One bad race doesn’t destroy confidence.
What destroys confidence is the meaning your rider gives to that race?
“ I had a bad day” it’s very different to “ I’m not good enough”
Help your writer separate the performance from the person.
Because one result should never define who they are 👊
This week inside peak performance we’ve been working on one simple idea…
Emotions are clues!
Instead of trying to get rid of anxiety, frustration or anger we teach riders to get curious.
What am I feeling?
What situation am I blaming?
What am I telling myself about the situation?
Because when you find the belief behind the emotion…
You found where real change begins 👊
Everyone sees the trophy 🏆
Very few people see everything that came before it.
The supportive family, the setbacks, the doubts, the failures.
The teammates who remind you is okay to struggle.
The deliberate environment that keeps you moving forward.
Congratulations Jack 🥰.
European champion isn’t just the result of one weekend. It’s the result of the people and the process behind-the-scenes.
We are incredibly proud to be a small part of your journey 🙌🥇
“Big races make my child anxious”
it’s something I hear all the time.
But what if the race isn’t actually the problem?
This week we’re exploring why emotions like anxiety frustration and anger don’t come from the situation itself.
They come from your riders beliefs about the situation.
Don’t chase the emotion. Find the belief 👊
Big races don’t make writers anxious!
It’s just the meaning they attached to the race that creates the emotion.
Change the belief and you can change the way you feel 👊
