Massive Congratulations to Lucy & Tiffany for there Volunteering awards.

Both committee members have made a massive ripple this year in America and flag football not only with the university team but also helping and playing in local teams.

Originally only meant to be running our media and looking after Kit these two have stepped up massively to help the club. Becoming wellbeing & coaches and our charity officers, Gaining coaching qualifications & umpire qualifications & first aid qualifications. Helping with sideline duties for other teams and starting a new flag football team for the next academic year.
All along side there degrees and jobs.

In a sport that’s often dominated by men these two really have shown the great effect ladies have in the game on the pitch and on the sidelines helping too.

The work these ladies have done this year will have a lasting effect on the football community and we couldn’t be prouder 👏 👏 👏

🔴⚫️Our Final Varsity Shoutouts go to our amazing support staff that made this game happen!

We often look at the players but this varsity the game would not of happened without all our extra people and helpers:

Richard our Head Ref Coming to save the day such last minute and dealing with high emotions from both teams so well and keeping the game running smoothly 🦸‍♂️

Callum coming to down be our interim coach for the game and our new coach for the next season. Was a pleasure having him work with us throughout the season and the game.

Sinead & Jen from coming to help with side ref duties and keeping the game running smoothly.

& Ellie from Salford graciously coming down to also help with side ref duties to allow the game to continue and go ahead. And make sure both sides were heard fairly.

With very little time for both teams to switch from Contact to flag the effort put in from both sides were brilliant.

Unfortunately this year though Salford took the point.

We will see them next year on there turf for another great match🫡
