We're all about the big 10 year anniversaries this year at FlyUp...but today, the moment belongs to Dave Webb, who has been a FlyUp legend since August 2016.

General Manager Dave has turned his skills to pretty much every part of our incredible bike park - from grounds design, construction and maintenance, to the shop, the café, the office, the organisation of events and races, the tech, the negotiations with anyone that needs negotiating with, and so much more.

If there's anything that's working particularly well at 417 Bike Park, there's a very good chance it's something to do with Dave.

As the summer heat rolls on, we're conscious things are very hot and dusty out there, so we're sharing a few tips for having your best day at the bike park:

🚵‍♀️Wear knee/elbow pads and familiarise yourself with the drier trail conditions
🫗Drink lots of water - refills available at the pump track barn and café
🌞Reapply sunscreen regularly - bottles available upstairs in reception
🌲Take regular breaks to cool down - there are plenty of trees onsite providing shade, or cool down in the Stables café
