🎉🏁 HAPPY 120TH BIRTHDAY, CHELTENHAM MOTOR CLUB! 🏁🎉

This Bank Holiday Monday, 31st August, we’re opening the doors from 12 noon - and we’d love you to come and celebrate with us! 🥳

120 years of Cheltenham Motor Club is something pretty special. ❤️

Come along and soak up some of the history, with lovely vintage cars from through the years, fascinating memorabilia and archive history, and plenty of stories from the club’s incredible past.

And, of course…there will be cake! 🎂Because no 120th birthday is complete without it!

But we’re not just about the cars - we’re all about the social side too. Whether you’re a lifelong member, a car enthusiast, or simply fancy popping in to see what we’re all about, you’ll be very welcome. (Non members welcome!)

🐾 Dogs are welcome too!

Cheltenham Motor Club is deeply saddened to announce the passing of the Club President and lifelong member of the club.

Summer Series - Precise Driving Test

Cheltenham Motor Club will be running a series of evening fun car events throughout the summer of 2026, including; Gymkhana “Precise Driving” and Autotests.

The first event is on Friday 24th April 2026

Venue: Dundry Nurseries, Bamfurlong Lane. Cheltenham. GL51 6SL. What3words ///pools.proven.opera

Arrive at 18:00 for a start at 18:30.

Gymkhana “Precise Driving”

Open to all, a Precise Driving test is all about knowing how to control your car in everyday situations, but in a fun way & not at all speed related. On paper it all seems very boring, but you'd be amazed how competitive it can get. No matter what the weather is doing there is likely to be some water involved.

There is no entry Fee, but we will be accepting donations in aid of the Butterfly Garden charity.

The Butterfly garden is an educational, therapeutic and recreational scheme, based initially on gardening, but now offering so much more. It is a project for people of all ages dealing with disablement of any kind. It caters for those looking to escape the world, those looking to re-enter it and some, who are still just looking.
