We are delighted to confirm that the new All-Weather Pitch at Cleeve Sports Centre is almost complete, creating a fantastic new facility for schools, clubs and the wider community.
The response to the project has already demonstrated the huge demand for accessible, high-quality sports facilities in Bishops Cleeve and the surrounding area, with bookings for the pitch already showing exceptionally strong interest.
Building on this success, we are now exploring the next stage of our community sports development – a proposed covered Sports Dome.

The proposed facility would:
✅ Provide year-round access to tennis and netball, regardless of weather conditions
✅ Increase opportunities for children, families, adults and older residents to participate in sport
✅ Support community clubs, coaching and recreational activities
✅ Introduce opportunities for pickleball, walking sports and inclusive activities
✅ Improve access for wheelchair users and residents with disabilities
✅ Provide affordable, local opportunities to be active and improve health and wellbeing

💫Cirque du Dance has a SEND Aerial Circus Taster Sessions that are designed to give children a calm, supportive space where they can build confidence at their own pace

Whether your child joins in straight away, takes their time, or prefers to watch at first, they are here to support them in a way that works best for them

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is back to help keep children in Gloucestershire happy, healthy, and entertained with free activities and nutritious food.

Families eligible for benefits-related free school meals can register now for the winter HAF. Thanks to grant funding, the county council is extending these fun, enriching holiday activities to all children and young people through the Holiday Activities Programme (HAP).
