Rhondda Rhinos had 4 teams competing at the Julie Morris International Welsh Open in Pembroke 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It was a fantastic weekend with plenty of close games, all played in the incredible setting beneath Pembroke Castle. 🏰

Well done to everyone involved throughout the weekend. 💙🦏

🥇 Division 3 National League Champions 🦏

What a season for the Rhondda Rhinos B team! They finished the league unbeaten, taking 10 wins from 10 games, scoring an incredible 91 goals and conceding just 18 - a goal difference of +73! 🔥
This achievement is a reflection of the hard work and commitment shown by the team over the last four years. They’ve continued to improve and push themselves in this division and it’s fantastic to see that rewarded with promotion to Division 2.

Rhondda Rhinos C also had a brilliant season, with a mix of experience and three players competing in the National League for the first time. They showed great determination, improving with every game and continuing to grow as a team. Watch out for this team over the next couple years 💪🏼

We also had Rhondda Rhinos teams competing in Division 3 and Division 4, bringing great energy, teamwork and determination throughout the weekend.🙌🏼

A huge congratulations to our Rhondda Rhinos representing Great Britain at the European Cup in Thury-Harcourt, France last weekend! 👏

Emily, Holly, Isla and Jenny represented Great Britain in the Women’s U21 B Team, gaining valuable experience against some of Europe’s best.

Megan was playing for the GB Women’s A Team, with the squad showing encouraging progress since last year.

Well done to all five players on representing Great Britain and making Rhondda Rhinos proud. 🇬🇧

Our Rhondda Rhinos A Team played in the St Omer Tournament in France back in May 🇫🇷

The team finished 7th overall - our highest-ever finish at the tournament and the best result by a British team in the division!

It was great to have a big support crowd cheering the team on 🦏4️⃣🩵

A massive congratulations to club member llar who last weekend secure promotion to the Premier Division in Canoe Slalom, while competing in Grandtully, Scotland🌊

🏆 Rhondda Rhinos B are South West Regional League Division 2 Champions!

In their first couple of seasons, this squad faced some heavy defeats. Since then, through consistent hard work, commitment and determination, they’ve gained promotion year on year in the South West Regionals.

Next season, they’ll compete in Division 1, chasing down the Rhinos A Team.

A huge achievement and a testament to the work this group has put in. 🦏

We’re celebrating some incredible achievements from our Rhondda Rhinos women recently! Two of our teams competed in the Welsh 4’s Women’s League, finishing 1st and 3rd 💪🦏

Huge congratulations to all the players for their hard work, teamwork and determination!

Rhondda Rhinos had 2 teams competing at the Regional Division 3 Open in Cheltenham in February.

🥉 Rhondda Rhinos Black fought their way to the podium, securing an incredible 3rd place finish. They narrowly missed out on the top spot after a nail-biting 3–2 battle against Bristol Pitbulls.

💪🏼 Rhondda Rhinos White showed real grit and determination, battling hard all tournament long and finding the net with some brilliant goals along the way. For many of the team, this was their first time competing at this level!

Well done to both teams. 🦏

Congratulations to club members Mari and Elliot, who today completed the Brecon to Cardiff Ultra Marathon, running an incredible 43-miles!

They took on the distance to raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young in memory of Iwan 4️⃣🦏
