A big thankyou to the Invitational XI, representing 10 fantastic Cricket Clubs at Rettendon Cricket Club President’s Day.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable day, with some good quality cricket played. The Invitational XI came out on top, winning by 40 runs 👏.

We look forward to 2027 🏏

We invite all members, friends, and family to join us tonight to celebrate the life of Robbie Baird. The match is due to start around 5:00 with the bar open early and a BBQ on the go.

Robbie Baird was a long term influential figure at our neighbours Rayleigh Cricket Club
His family have been lifelong friends to many Rettendon Cricket Club members and each year a memorial match takes place to celebrate his life.

Wishing Co-Chairman Joe Locke belated birthday wishes 👏

Lockey has been fundamental to the cricket club since joining in 2013

On the pitch he’s amassed over 5000 runs and taken 170 wickets. Outside of cricket Joe has held a committee role for many years, stepping up to Co-Chairman this year.

Here’s to 10,000 runs and 300 wickets 👏
