New accessible pool lifts have arrived at our Chelmsford Swimming Pools! 🏊🏽‍♀️ 🌊

Now available at both Riverside Leisure Centre and South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre, our new state-of-the-art pool pods make getting into the water easier than ever for wheelchair users and people with additional accessibility needs.

The lifts can be operated by either the user or a member of staff, offering greater independence and confidence when accessing the pool. There's even space for a companion to join you during the transfer if needed.

Both centres also have submersible wheelchairs available to use with the pods, along with a range of accessible changing facilities. ♿

Why not come and give them a try? Our friendly pool team will be happy to show you how they work and help you get started on your swimming journey.
