We’re back!!!
Season starts again this Saturday and our teams are back to games. A busy home schedule-will be great to see teams out supporting each other and a lovely, busy clubhouse!

A massive congratulations to our Seve on an incredible achievement! Playing for Brentwood CC, he has officially become the first player in the Play-Cricket era to take 500 wickets in the Essex Premier Cricket League since digital records began.
While his association with the club dates back to the 1980s, official Play-Cricket records for the league began in 2006, having become a designated ECB Premier League in 1996. Across more than two decades, no other bowler has reached this monumental 500-wicket mark until Seve broke the barrier.
An absolute masterclass in longevity, consistency, and spin bowling.
Not just an England and Chelmsford hockey hero. Congratulations to a true Essex League cricket legend on making history!

The time is approaching for the start of the season!
First game for the Chelmsford Hockey Club Ladies 1 XI will be against CityOfPeterboroughHockeyClub on the 12th September, with a 2.30pm push back.
We’re going out hard, aiming for the top, have a strong squad and welcome all support offered!
Some new merch has been bought for supporters…come and wave it around at the first Ladies 1s game!

Great start back to pre-season games for the Chelmsford Hockey Club Men’s 1s yesterday against St Albans HC. After months of heat and sun, it pretty much rained all game.
Lots of new talent into the team and it’s going to be an exciting season. Still room to grow though. DM if you’re a National League level player.
It’s not too late to make a move.
Are you a National League player just not settled with your club choice? We’re looking particularly for midfield and attacking players but open to discussions about all positions.
We’re doing things differently this season. We’ve always been a fun, family club where you’ll be valued rather than treated like a commodity. But we’re determined. Committed. A highly qualified and experienced coaching team; even the captain is studying towards his ACP. Players that are serious on the pitch and good mates off it.
Remuneration is available.
We’re unable to sponsor visas. You must have the right to work in the UK independently.
