The small thank yous I get from my clients mean a lot.
I could not ask for better clients and to see them grow in strength and confidence is a pleasure.
And guess I'm officially outting myself as a pokemon card collector 🙈

Pain and discomfort doesn't always mean you need to stop.
There is an important distintion between pain and discomfort. Disconfort doesn't always mean you need to stop.
First time you feel a ni**le? It's probably okay to train through it. If it reoccurs again and again then it might be time to reassess and see a physio.
If a client of mine is feeling discomfort and pain then I'll ask what level of pain or discomfort they feel and if its occuring during a certain part of a movement. If its occuring at a certain point in a movement then it might be an adjustment of form which is needed or we can adjust the exercise to avoid any unnecessary discomfort.

Mental health and more general health popped up a lot when speaking to my clients. I'm not a aestetics focused coach. Many of my clients will have some kind of aestetic goal that we work towards but this isn't their main focus for training. They want to feel healthy, strong, fit and capable. A lot of them want a way to destress because we all know life can be stressful.
Does this sound like you? DM me for 1-to-1 coaching in Chelmsford and to book a consultation
Allow the aestitics of the post, I literally put it together while on a plane 🤣

So you want to get stronger? So, you start thinking that every workout needs to be a battle and you need to push to failure on a regular basis.
It seems like that makes sense, doesn't it?
This isn't actually the case.
You don't need to struggle through every single session. In fact, a decent program half the time should feel manageable on both good days and bad days. Of course there will be days and weeks that will be more challenging, but this shouldn't be every single day you're working out.
Need help with finding a training program that's right for you? Message me "STRONGER" today.

I dont know about you but I personally don't want to be bogged down by focusing on the number on the scale or counting every calorie I eat!
It's also very easy to get wrapped up in numbers wanting to see a lower number on the scale or wanting to try and be under on whatever calorie goal you have set yourself. The only time i tend to weigh myself on a regular basis, is in the lead up to a competition where I need to be under a specific weight.
So here's what I focus on:
Am i getting stronger, are my weights increasing?
Am I resting and recovering well? Is my sleep in check and do I have enough energy when I'm training?
Am I fueling well? Am I eating adequate protein and eating plenty of fruit and veg?
Are you sick of getting caught up in the number on the scale or more concerned with wanting to get stronger or physcially fitter? Message me "STRONGER" to talk more about your goals.
Do you weigh yourself regularly?
