A first home win of the season. Unfortunately this is our last league game of the campaign. After a fourth failure to fulfil the previois Saturday the league have voided all of our results and don't want us to play the remaining 3 fixtures.

Well it had to happen eventually. We decided not to post this season until we got another win. Fair play to the other team for keeping going until the end after their GK was sent off for handball outside the box at 4-1. Maybe we will start posting results now.

First pre-season game. Close game for the first 70 mins. Had a goal wrongly disallowed for offside that would have made it 3-3 then tired against a team playing their 5th game who were runners up last year in our new division.

Tintwistle Athletic Res 4-3 Cavaliers (HT 1-2)

Went 2-0 up and had a great chance to make it 3 with a 1v1 that could have killed the game. Home teams 3rd didn't cross the line after a great double save by our GK but goal given. We make it 4-3 and hit the post in the last minute.
