It’s not just a Pilates instructor thing!

Stacking your hips helps keep your pelvis stable, improve alignment and make sure you’re actually working the muscles you came for.

Note the position here is still a work in progress, hence me fixing at the start. Think about lifting through your waist - this creates space underneath you, helps prevent the pelvis from moving and gives you a more stable base to move from.

Small adjustment, big difference 💜

Progress isn’t always pretty, and it doesn’t need to be.

Our bodies are constantly adapting to how we move, sit, work, train and live. When one area is restricted, another will often compensate.

The goal isn’t to force perfect movement. It’s to understand what your body is doing, work with it, and give it the time and consistency it needs to adapt.

That’s where the real progress happens. 🤍
