New sled turf on the way to Chapter Gym 👀
Our current sled carpet has seen a lot of use over the years. It has been pushed, pulled, dragged, sweated on and properly worked - but it’s definitely time for an upgrade.
So we’ve had a new custom Chapter Gym sled turf made and it is now on its way to us.
This will give members a better dedicated space for:
sled pushes / sled pulls / conditioning work / athletic training / hockey off-ice sessions / strongman-style conditioning
This is part of our ongoing plan to keep building the gym, improving the space and adding more ways for our members to train properly.
From concept to custom build - another upgrade is nearly here.
And there’s more coming soon.

This weekend, we had the privilege of hosting something truly special at Chapter Gym.
Sarah took on an incredible 24-hour challenge in memory of her son, Finley, pushing herself every hour for 24 hours to raise money for Demelza. Watching her determination, resilience and strength throughout the challenge was genuinely inspiring.
Sarah's challenge was about so much more than physical endurance. It shone a light on the reality of caring for a child with complex needs and honoured Finley's memory in the most powerful way. ❤️
A huge credit must also go to her coach James Gale, who stood by Sarah's side throughout the entire 24 hours. His dedication to supporting Sarah, alongside his wider mission through Project 39 to raise awareness and vital funds for Demelza, has been nothing short of incredible. The impact he is making for families who need this support deserves huge recognition.
We also want to highlight the amazing work of Demelza. They provide specialist care, respite, end-of-life care and bereavement support for children with serious or life-limiting conditions, while also supporting the families who walk alongside them every step of the way.
If you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean so much. Every pound helps Demelza continue providing these life-changing services to families when they need them most.
The donation link is in our Story.
Thank you, Sarah, for allowing us to play a small part in such an emotional and inspiring challenge. And thank you to James and everyone involved in making it happen. We are incredibly proud to have supported this amazing cause. 💙

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT - Daisy
We’re really proud to spotlight Daisy, one of our junior hockey athletes here at Chapter Gym.
Daisy is 12 years old and has been training Off-Ice with Michael for around a year, alongside her ice hockey training and games.
She has recently returned from Czechia after captaining the England U13 Girls and winning silver. A brilliant achievement and a great reflection of the work she continues to put in.
Daisy chose Chapter because her training is built around her as an athlete. Her sessions are designed to support her ice hockey performance, helping her build strength, speed, power, balance and confidence, while also adapting around any physio work when needed.
One of the biggest things Daisy mentioned was confidence. Before starting, she was worried about feeling out of place or not knowing what she was doing. Since then, she has grown in confidence, discipline and motivation both in the gym and on the ice.
In Daisy’s words:
“I chose Chapter because it’s not just a standard gym. Michael tailors everything around me as a player.”
“Everyone was really welcoming, and Michael made me feel comfortable straight away.”
“Training at Chapter has made me more disciplined, confident and motivated.”
We’re proud to be part of Daisy’s journey and excited to see what she does next.
Well done, Daisy 👏

New commercial-grade kit landing this month.
Our current cable machine needs some attention, so we’ve ordered a new Mirafit Functional Trainer for Chapter Gym.
It’ll give members a solid cable training option for upper body, lower body, core and accessory work.
Another upgrade for the gym.
