NEW FOR 2026: A NEW & IMPROVED TRIPLE TRAIL 50KM 🏃🌿

For 2026, we’ve made a significant update to our Triple Trail 50km route — and we think it’s made an already brilliant race even better.

With a new start line at Blue Bell Hill, the route now takes runners through a stunning new section around Nashenden Downs and Burham Common, before picking up the North Downs Way and eventually joining the Triple Trail 100km route.

From there, it’s all the way to the finish through the peaceful woodland of Boxley Warren, over the testing hills around Detling and on towards some pretty spectacular views across Leeds Castle.

The changes mean more traffic-free trails, more time in the countryside and some of the most epic views the South East has to offer.

It’s an amazing race course and one we’re really excited for you to experience.

Sound good? Come and see it for yourself on Saturday 19 September. 🧡

⏳ Entries close next Saturday, 5 September.

And remember, everyone on the start list will automatically be entered into our Triple Trail prize draw, with three prizes up for grabs:

🥇 Your 2026 Triple Trail entry fee refunded
🥈 A free entry to any Embrace Ultra event in 2027
🥉 An item of Embrace Ultra merchandise of your choice

Already entered? You’re already in the draw. If not, get yourself on the start list before entries close and you’ll be included too.

Already entered? You’re already in the draw. There’s absolutely nothing else you need to do.

Not entered yet? Anyone who gets their name on the start list before entries close will be included too.

And we’re getting close to capacity. There are now fewer than 20 places remaining in each of the 25km, 50km and 100km distances, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us, don’t leave it too late.

And just like that, we’ve reached the final Ramblings of an Injured Race Director for the week… 😬😂

I promised you a little surprise yesterday, and here it is.

With just over a week until Triple Trail entries close, we’re giving three people on this year’s start list the chance to win one of three prizes:

🥇 Your 2026 Triple Trail race entry fee refunded
🥈 A free entry to ANY Embrace Ultra race in 2027
🥉 An item of Embrace Ultra merch

And importantly, this isn’t just for people entering from today.

If you’re already on the start list, you’re already in the draw. 🧡

Anyone who enters between now and entries closing will join you.

We’re now down to fewer than 20 places in each distance, so if Triple Trail has been on your radar, now might be the time to stop thinking about it and get your name on that start list… 👀

🏃 25km • 50km • 100km
📅 Saturday 19 September
⏳ Entries close Saturday 5 September, or earlier if your distance sells out.

And that’s it for the ramblings… for now anyway 😂

I’ve actually really enjoyed doing this little series this week, and I hope you’ve enjoyed it too.

If there are any topics you’d like me to ramble about in future, drop a comment below and I’ll see what I can do 👇

Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone

After yesterday’s shambles, we’re back with a bang for Day 4 of the Ramblings of an Injured Race Director 😬😂

Today I’m talking about everything else we’ve got going on around the races over Triple Trail weekend.

Because this year, we want the Triple Trail to be about more than just race day. We want it to be a weekend celebration of trail running in the South East. 🧡

And a big part of that is our Friday night Triple Trailfest.

We’ve got yoga, a free kids’ run, Trail Talks with some brilliant guests, live acoustic music, food, drink and the bar open — all at our event village at Loddington Farm.

And you don’t need to be racing to come along. If you’re local, love trail running and fancy spending an evening with the community, we’d love to have you there.

🎟️ Tickets for Triple Trailfest can be bought through the Merchandise tab on our Triple Trail entry page:

And if you want to do more than just join us on Friday night, there’s still time to get yourself on the start line for the 25km, 50km or 100km on Saturday.

⏳ Entries close completely on Saturday 5th September — with no late entries or waitlist.

‼️ Stay tuned for my final ramble tomorrow because I’ve got a little surprise for everyone already on the start list… and anyone still thinking about joining us. 👀

You won’t want to miss this one.

You can tell I’m a complete novice at this video content malarkey… 😬😂

Today’s Ramblings of an Injured Race Director mandatory kit edition was so long I put it across a few videos thinking I’d be clever…turns out I’m not that clever and Instagram just cut them all short. 🤦🏻‍♂️

So rather than leave you with half the information, I’ve deleted it.

We’ll get the full video uploaded to our YouTube channel instead, where apparently I’m allowed to ramble for a little longer 😂 I’ll take you through the mandatory kit for the 25km, 50km and 100km and explain a few of the requirements in a bit more detail.

In the meantime, you can find the full mandatory kit requirements on the event page 👇

And if you’re still thinking about joining us:

🏃 25km • 50km • 100km
📅 Saturday 19th September
⏳ Entries close completely on Saturday 5th September — no late entries or waitlist.

I’ll try and be a bit more Instagram-friendly tomorrow… 😂

Day 2 of the Ramblings of an Injured Race Director… 😬

Today, I’m sharing my 5 top tips for taking on the Triple Trail Races. A few things I’ve learnt from watching hundreds of runners take on these trails over the last couple of years:

1️⃣ Don’t go off too fast – especially you 100km runners!
2️⃣ Use the aid stations – they’re there to keep you moving.
3️⃣ Choose your kit wisely – September weather can be unpredictable.
4️⃣ Don’t underestimate the course – Kent might not be the mountains, but it can still bite!
5️⃣ Look up & have fun – you’re travelling through some incredible scenery, so remember to enjoy it.

Tomorrow’s ramble will be all about mandatory kit, with help and guidance on what you’ll need to carry on race day.

Still thinking about joining us?

I’m calling this the Ramblings of an Injured Race Director series… 😬

One upside of not being able to run at the moment is that I can hobble around rambling about all things running. And this week, there’s probably no better topic than our Triple Trail Races, which are now less than four weeks away.

So, for today’s ramble, I thought I’d go back to the beginning and share a little bit about how the race came about, where the idea came from and how it’s evolved into the event it is today.

If you’re thinking about joining us this September, there are a couple of important things to know.

Entries close on Saturday 5th September and, once they’re closed, they’re closed. Unfortunately, there won’t be a waitlist or any late entries.

We’re also edging closer to our entry limit for this year, so if the 25km, 50km or 100km has been on your radar, now’s probably a good time to get your name on the start list.

I’ve got a feeling there might be a few more Triple Trail rambles while I hobble around this week… you’ve been warned. 😂

🧡 WE STILL NEED A FEW MORE VOLUNTEERS!

With less than four weeks to go until Triple Trail Race Weekend, we’re now finalising our volunteer plan.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who has registered to volunteer so far. We’re assembling a really brilliant team for the race weekend and it’s great to see so many people giving up their time to help make Triple Trail happen.

We do, however, still have a few gaps where we could really use some extra hands.

If you’re free on Friday 18th or Saturday 19th September and fancy experiencing an event from the other side of the racing line, we’d love to have you as part of the team.

And as a thank you for giving up your time, you can earn a place at one of our future events, either for yourself or someone you nominate. 🙌

COURSE SWEEPERS 🏃‍♂️🌿

We’re also looking for a few more on-the-day course sweepers.

If you’ve already got a long run planned that weekend, why not combine it with helping us out? You’ll follow behind the final runners, helping us clear the course as you go.

We currently have:

• Start → West Peckham – 25km
• West Peckham → Moot Brewery – 20km
• Moot Brewery → Detling – 18km
• Detling → Finish – 27km

The Triple Trail is a big race for us logistically, with three distances, multiple start locations and checkpoints spread right across the course. It’s simply not an event we could put on without the support of the running community and the people willing to give up their time to be part of it.

If you can fill one of the remaining spots, drop us a message or comment below and we’ll get in touch.

Thanks everyone, we really do appreciate it

Phil 🙏🏻🧡
