💦 Why We Ask Swimmers to Wear Swim Hats 💦

To answer some questions...

A swim hat is more than part of the uniform. It plays an important role in keeping swimmers safe and comfortable in the water.

✅ Keeps hair out of the eyes
✅ Helps swimmers maintain good visibility
✅ Supports effective supervision by teachers and lifeguards
✅ Promotes pool hygiene

We would like all swimmers attending lessons to wear a swim hat whenever possible.

Swim hats are available from reception for £2.50. Please note that we are no longer able to provide free replacement hats if a hat is lost or forgotten or moving stages. Any swim hat is acceptable. It does not need to be a Freedom Leisure swim hat, as long as it fits securely and is suitable for swimming.

Welcome families to Active Saturdays at Chard Library! In partnership with Freedom Leisure you are invited to come along to the library with your children for our latest FREE event. Starting on 3rd October the Active Saturdays will happen on the first Saturday of each month, and you are welcome to attend as many as you like!
