St Francis Football Club Welcome to St Francis Football Club. If you want Boys, Girls, Adult or Disability football in the Chandler's Ford area, St Francis FC can offer these pathways.

For more details please follow us and visit our website at www.stfrancisfc.org.uk St Francis FC provides football opportunities to children from the ages of 5 through to 18 in the area of Chandlers Ford, Hampshire. Currently the club runs 20 teams in local leagues catering for some 200+ children. The club is entirely run on a voluntary basis by the parents of our players.

A tough game against a good Littleton side today, with plenty for the boys to learn from. Passing, moving the ball quickly and getting shots away will be the focus at training on Tuesday! 💪

👏 A special shout-out to Max R, who marked his first game of the season with brilliant blocks, strong tackles and confident passing out from defence. He also showed that sometimes a pass backwards is the best way to help the team move forwards!

St Francis Rangers U14 Girls continued their strong start to the season with a hard-fought win against Oakley.

Oakley began well and put St Francis under pressure, taking the lead before half-time. The girls regrouped during the break and came back with more energy, working hard for one another and creating better chances.

Orla’s well-judged ball over the top found Haz, who got beyond her defender and finished calmly to bring St Francis level. The team kept building momentum, and Liv converted a penalty to put them ahead. She then added another late in the game, turning neatly before finishing into the roof of the net to secure the win.

It was a competitive match against a strong Oakley side, and the team showed good determination and teamwork to come away with the result. Thank you to Oakley for a well-contested game.

She was fearless in goal, with strong goal kicks, excellent communication and some brilliant saves.

The disappointment in this photo shows how much today meant to our U16 Knights. Their cup journey may have ended, but their manager and coaches couldn’t be prouder. ⚽

Just 20 minutes in, our keeper had to come off, leaving the team with ten players. Alex stepped up to go in goal, making some cracking saves as his teammates gave everything in front of him.

There was brilliant passing, strong headers and constant communication. They supported each other, kept battling and played their hearts out right to the final whistle. Everything you could ask of a team. 👏

With the match finishing level, it came down to a penalty shoot-out, where the Knights narrowly missed out. A tough way to go out after giving so much.

We know it hurts, boys, but your commitment, determination and teamwork gave us so much to be proud of today. Hold your heads high. ❤️

Loved seeing the energy from the St Francis Rangers U14 Girls in today’s derby against Wi******er City Hawks! ⚽️✨

The team came out of the blocks sharp right from the start, working hard for each other and stringing together some lovely football across the pitch. ⚡️

Plenty of fantastic moments to celebrate right across the team:
•⁠ ⁠Maisie got us off to a flyer with brilliant anticipation in front of goal!
•⁠ ⁠Lily took on a cracking strike from range that had everyone on their feet! 🚀
•⁠ ⁠Grace set up a great attack with huge power on her kick, finding Liv, who took it down and picked out the top corner with a beautiful finish! 💥
•⁠ ⁠Liv then turned provider, linking up with Harriet from a throw-in for a really well-worked move! 👏

What mattered most today was seeing the girls play with huge smiles, support one another from start to finish, and show great respect on the pitch. Fantastic effort from both teams and a proper game of grassroots football! 🏆

It's been a strong start to the season with 2 games and 2 great wins.

Training takes place on 3G pitches on Tuesdays, 6:30–8pm at Stoneham Lane Football Complex, with matches on Sundays and home games at Knightwood Leisure Centre.

Our inclusive football sessions welcome over-16s and adults of all abilities, whether you want to play for fun or get involved in competitive football.

Everyone with a physical disability and/or anyone who is neurodivergent is welcome. No diagnosis required — just come along and enjoy your football!
