What a day! 🎉

The Chalford Tennis & Pickleball Club Championships brought the sunshine, the smiles, and some seriously fierce competition! ☀️🎾

A massive thank you to everyone—members, friends, and family—who came out to cheer, chat, and soak up the incredible atmosphere. Our community is truly second to none! ❤️

Here are a few highlights from an epic day:

🔥 Sizzling BBQ: Ian and Penny worked absolute magic at the grill—keeping everyone fueled and happy! 🌭

🍰 Sweet Treats & Sweeps: A giant high-five to Vicky for running the mouth-watering cake stall and raffle!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to help cover the day’s costs.

🎾 Epic Action: The sun was shining, and the courts were on fire with nail-bitingly close matches, all played in the best spirit.

🏆 Behind the Scenes: Huge gratitude to Helen for sorting the trophies, and to Nic for masterminding the whole tournament and keeping the day running smoothly!

🎾 Junior Tennis at Chalford Tennis & Pickleball Club 🎾

Looking to get your kids active, building confidence, and learning a sport for life? Our junior coaching program runs 6 days a week, catering to every age and skill level!

Following the LTA Youth framework, our structured sessions use age-appropriate courts, balls, and rackets to help players develop key motor skills, technique, and tactical awareness while having fun.

Here is a breakdown of our groups:

Tots Blue Ball (Ages 3–5):
Focuses on fundamental movement patterns, balance, agility, and simple hand-eye coordination—the perfect first introduction to tennis-related skills!

Red Ball (Ages 4–7):
Played on smaller courts with larger, softer red balls. Helps young players learn basic technique, serve, rally, and score from the start.

Orange Ball (Ages 8–9):
Uses a larger court with medium-bounce orange balls, helping kids transition toward full-court play while refining technique and basic court coverage.

Green Ball (Ages 10–11):
Played on a full-size court with full-height nets and green transition balls, teaching full-court movement and tactical match-play strategies.

Yellow Ball (Ages 12+):
Full-court tennis using standard yellow balls. Designed for teens looking to develop advanced technique, fitness, and competitive match play.

Performance Groups (Invitation Only): Intensive training tailored for players demonstrating strong commitment, tactical understanding, and competitive drive.

Chalford Tennis and Pickleball Club welcomes EVERYONE to our annual Tennis and Pickleball Club Championships THIS SUNDAY!!! 🎉

It promises to be a fantastic day—and yes, we’ve even ordered the sun this year! ☀️

Here is what you can look forward to:
Action-Packed Matches: Tennis and Pickleball games running continuously from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Food & Drinks: The bar will be open all day, and the BBQ will be fired up! 🔥🍔

Community Vibe: Friends, family, and neighbours are all invited to drop by, explore our lovely club, and see what we're all about.
