Today we took 5 cadets with other members from the district to HMS CERES, Royal Navy Reserve where they learnt Sea Survival, Fire Fighting, Weapons Training and First Aid.

They were amazing and might have gotten a little bit soggy, some even tried attacking me with the hose 😧

Note: All weapons activities are conducted under the supervision of qualified staff and in accordance with current Ministry of Defence regulations and approved training publications.

Last evening was all about Cdt Isabelle.

Isabelle has been extremely busy the last few weeks of the summer holidays from spending a week at HMS Raleigh and gained her powerboating level 1 & 2, to a weekend at Leeds Unit and gaining her First Aid.

I am delighted to be able to promote her to Cadet First Class 😁

Today our Sea Cadets and Junior Cadets have been busy at the District Boating Weekend. They are working on Rowing, Powerboat and Canoe skills.
