Massive game as we need a win to keep any hopes of quarter final footy alive! This will be our last game at home in 2026 and we’d love to see as many of you Froggy faithful down at the club as possible getting behind the boys in this important fixture

Saturday we host Moldgreen in the final round of the NCRL Play Off group stages, this is a must with fixture for us if we want to keep any hopes of qualifying for the Quarter final alive

Moldgreen will be looking to finish their season on a high and bow out with a win and what better team to do it against than Fryston eh? We will have to be on point with everything in the lead up and during this game as we know how good Moldgreen can be!

This will be the last time we will play down at Fryston this year so we’d love to see a massive crowd on the sidelines this weekend getting behind the boys as we look to continue our season further into the play offs!

At the weekend we headed over to Wigan in round 2 of the play offs to face NCRL north west league leaders Orrell St James

Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be as we were beating by the better side on the day, the scoreline didn’t feel like a 28-0 scoreline, Orrell were in a battle for the full game and time after time same story with us, silly errors and penalties gifted orrell field position and against a team like them, you just can’t afford to do it

Hats off to all 16 Fryston lads that made the trip over, backs against wall immediately, then after 5 minutes losing a man to a head knock, then again around 20 minutes later. We were well up against it playing with practically 14 men all game but every player dug in and gave 100%

We face Moldgreen Arlc at home this weekend, which will be Knockout footy for us

We hope to see a massive crowd this weekend getting behind the boys as we look to progress to the quarter finals

Back on the road again this weekend as we head over to Wigan to face a very well established NCL and NCRL north west champions Orrell St James in round 2 of the Cross county play offs

Mammoth task for the lads this one as we look to build on the back of last weeks impressive away victory up in Cumbria, both sides got off to a winning start in the play offs so the winner of this one will be more than comfortable heading into round 3

On Saturday we made the 3 hour bus trip up to Cumbria to take on Cumbrian NCRL Runners up Hensingham in round 1 of the NCRL Cross County Play Offs

Massive task was at hand for the boys on our first ever Cumbria trip with injuries and players unavailable we were certainly the underdogs in this fixture, but that’s just how we like it.

14-0 down backs against the wall we could of rolled over and let the home side run away with it but that’s not what we went up to do, we showed them what Fryston is about and brought the fight right back to the home side and came away with a 22-20 win up in Cumbria! Not many sides go up there and have wins like that and we did so on our first go!

Massive thanks to Hensingham for the hospitality and good luck for the remaining play off games
