Everyone meet Eureka!

Catch Eureka around the center helping out with operation’s every Friday and on deck teaching our young swimmers every Sunday AM!

Alongside her teaching at Swim!, she is in Sixth Form studying English Language, Psychology, and Biology with the ultimate dream of becoming a clinical psychologist.

When she isn't studying or poolside, she's a massive music lover, with her playlist usually bouncing between heavy nu-metal and smooth R&B!

Above all, Eureka loves helping children build their confidence both in and out of the water, master new skills ⭐️

Everyone meet Mia!

Mia, has been a teacher at Swim! Castleford since April and regularly teaches on a Saturday and Sunday AM.

Mia absolutely loves seeing those smiles on her swimmers faces as they learn new skills, build their confidence and make progress each lesson. Her favourite lesson theme is water safety, helping children develop skills that are both fun and important. 🌊

Did you know, Mia, was a synchronised swimmer at national level for 4 years with City of Leeds! Her greatest achievement was winning a National Synchronised Swimming Championships Gold Medal🏅✨

Everyone Meet Phoebe!

Phoebe regularly teaches for us on a Sunday PM alongside covering our lessons on other days so is a friendly face you will of seen at our site already.

Phoebe absolutely loves our themed weeks and her favourites are definitely superhero’s and water safety!

In her spare time when not in the pool Phoebe loves to go to the gym and play tennis alongside studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths at college.

Did you know, Phoebe is considering doing medicine or pharmacy at university and hopes for a career in that field after university! 👩‍⚕️

Everyone Meet Ellise!

Ellise regularly teaches for us on a Wednesday and Saturday PM alongside covering our lessons on other days so is a friendly face you will of seen at our site already.

Ellise absolutely loves our themed weeks and her favourites are definite superhero’s and tv & movies!

In her spare time when not in the pool Ellise loves to also coach athletics at her local club, alongside also competing herself still regularly. Ellise competes in the long jump and her PB is a whopping 4.83m!! 🏃🏼‍♀️

Everyone meet Georgia-Alice!

Georgia-Alice has been working at Swim! since April and regularly teaches on a Friday and Saturday PM alongside covering on other days either in the pool or front of house meeting and greeting all our swimmers 😀

She comes with a wealth of experience within the education and special educational needs setting after years working as a teaching assistant within several primary schools in the local community.

Georgia-Alice loves all things fitness and in her spare time enjoys boxing and riding on her white scooter 🛵 as a nice change to the normal method of car transport 🚙

⭐ Star of the Month ⭐

July’s star of the month at Swim! Castleford goes to our very own Millie Wood.

Alongside teaching Swim! Baby on a Monday and our swim! programme Tuesday to Friday Millie has recently progressed within the company to her new role of Team Leader Relief, providing duty manager shifts for the centre.

Millie always provides a warm and personal welcome to all her swimmers and always goes above and beyond to her parents of her lessons as well as now the whole centre.

Well done Millie! 🎉

Today we say goodbye for now to our Team Leader, Danielle, as she leaves us to go on maternity leave ahead of the arrival of her baby boy in the near coming weeks. 👶🏼

Good luck from everyone at swim! Danielle and we can’t wait to welcome the arrival of your little one and see you both in the pool soon in our baby Swim! lessons, splashing and making memories!

Enjoy maternity and we will see you back in the business in 9 months time 😀
