Barbarian Wrestling club is one of the longest running freestyle wrestling clubs in Northern Ireland. We have three UKCC 2 qualified coaches and 2 UKCC 1 coaches. Everyone is welcome to come along and try our sport weather it would be competitive or just for keeping fit but most of all we will be sure to have fun. From the age 5+, male and female.

All thanks to the Olympic legacy funding set up by the sports minister Gordon Lyons and sports NI . The Barbarians wrestling club would like to thank sports NI chair Gavin Boyd for taking the time out to speak with us about future projects and how he can help and direct us in the right direction along with Gordon Lyons. Also we would like to give a big shoutout to Cheryl Brownlee our local MLA and her team for there continued support without them we would have never of had any of are new equipment.
Last but not least Barbarians wrestling community/club would like to thank each and everyone that donated their hard earned money towards the Olympic legacy crowd funder in conjunction with Sports NI, it’s so much appreciated and has helped our club move forward and offer better facilities for this and the next generation 🙏🏻
