💚💛 There’s a reason behind the hearts… 💛💚

You might have noticed that I put 💚💛 at the beginning and end of every Forge Youth Development post.

They’re not just there because they look good — they actually mean something to me.

💚 The green represents the Royal Marines, a huge part of my life. I served for 11 years as a Royal Marines Commando, and the values I learned during that time have stayed with me ever since — discipline, teamwork, courage, determination and looking after the people around you.

💛 The gold represents resilience. That never-give-up attitude. The belief that when things get difficult, you keep going, pick yourself up and find a way forward.

And that’s exactly what I want Forge Youth Development to represent.

I want our young people to learn that success isn't always about being the strongest, the fastest or the best.

Sometimes it’s about having the confidence to try, the resilience to fail, and the determination to try again.

Those two little hearts are a reminder of the values behind everything we’re trying to build. 💚💛

Be brave. Be resilient. Never give up.
