Great course this weekend with Neil Adams Judo

Brilliant training with the Judo legend himself.

9th Dan, previous world and European champion, two time Olympic silver medalist and the voice of Judo!

Great techniques and dynamic ways to train which we will 100% be sharing in the club.

Great to see some of the extended judo family there too soaking it all in.

Thanks to Staveley Judo Club for putting it together.

Brilliant weekend at the BJC Presidents course over on the North East.

Great for our club members to meet President Otani and Derek Sensei even got to practice with him. To quote one of the kids "he got thrown.... A LOT" 🤣

Brilliant course with some first class coaching from all the senior BJC coaches great to have so much experience on the door step.

Well done to all those who competed and graded at the weekend, you did a great job representing the club, we got great feedback from the president and the senior coaches.
As always we loved seeing our friends from the north east too, always fun when they're involved.

This month Watanabe Kai celebrates it's 40 year anniversary since the club opened back in 1986.

We would like to start by saying thank you to all the amazing members, parents and volunteers that have supported the club over the years and those that still do now.

The club would not be here without the healthy membership that helps us keep judo alive in Carlisle.

Also to all the brilliant coaches that have coached and led the club through all of the different eras. All of which you can see in the below pictures in various stages of thier judo careers 😜

We look forward to another 40 years ahead and hope the club continues to thrive and grow with the next generation of coaches and members.

Back in business after a Summer break
