As the seniors continue their pre season preparations away on the Tenby bus 🚌 today they are pleased to announce ladies day for their first home league game of the season September 19th.

Canopy area will be set up over Moorland Park with drinks on arrival and entertainment throughout the day.

Focus this weekend for the senior squad is a pre season fixture at Tenby RFC. Coach leaves the club 10am. Looking to repeat last seasons great occasion with a friendly game and beers in Tenby town 🚌 🍻 🫡🔰🐺

Consistency off the field has led to more consistency on it. The management team have been working together past few seasons and have made an addition to it in the off season with Mike Hiscock working under the guise of Chris James. Mike Thomas continuing for a third season as Head Coach alongside TM John Manders and all strapped together by Mari Enoch. Countless coffee hours and tape to keep the squad functioning and like any good environment looking after their people is the key driver to the senior management team. 🔰🔰

A great day for 6 of the senior squad representing East District at Cardiff Arms Park vs Llandaff RFC. They certainly played their part in the 150 year event for Llandaff RFC.

Martin Ridley - Head Coach, Backs Coach
Qualifications
- Level 2 Rugby coach
Experience
- 12-years junior coaching
- 200+ games of senior rugby in Western Australia, Plymouth, Exeter Chiefs, Ebbw Vale and Rosslyn Park
- Around 100 games of local rugby with Canton, Machen and Old Illtydians

Rhys Mainwaring, Forwards Coach
Qualifications
Level 2 rugby coach
BSc Degree in rugby coaching and performance analysis
Experience
1 year Merthyr college
4 years of school rugby
3 years Cardiff dewar shield
3 years EPP Coach
3 years as a WRU HUB officer

Joshua Boalch Team Manager, Forwards Support Coach
Having played all his mini, junior, youth and senior rugby and currently coaching mini’s at Old Illtydians it’s fair to say the team management is in capable hands for the 2026/27 season

Pre Season continues this evening on Moorland Park as the senior squads gear up to August pre season matches.
