Gareth Brookman
A multiple league-winning youth coach, Gareth Brookman spent over a decade developing a generation of players who not only formed the Club’s first youth team for many years but also progressed into established senior footballers at remarkably young ages.
His contribution extended beyond youth football. Gareth was a double trophy-winning first-team coach and played a key role in securing back-to-back promotions. His dedication to the Club was further demonstrated when he came out of retirement to take charge of the youth team once again after the previous manager stepped down unexpectedly.
A truly humble and selfless Club man, Gareth’s commitment, leadership, and lasting impact on generations of players make him thoroughly deserving of his place among the finest servants the Club has ever had

Alan Beer
The word legend can be overused, but when it comes to one of our first Hall of Fame inductees, it couldn’t be more appropriate. Alan is, without question, one of those true legends.
Today, many people know Alan as the heart and soul of the Club – the selfless volunteer who will do anything to help. Whether he’s coaching young players, lending a hand wherever needed, or turning up on a Sunday morning to search the bushes for footballs lost the day before, Alan’s dedication is unmatched.
However, his contribution to the footballing side of the Club over the past 40 years has been nothing short of extraordinary. Generations of players who have progressed through our junior system into the first team have benefited from Alan’s guidance, encouragement and expertise. Few have made that journey without experiencing a little of Alan’s magic along the way.
Humble, committed and universally respected, Alan embodies everything this Club stands for. His remarkable service has already been recognised with the FAW Volunteer of the Year Award in 2019, while the Clubman of the Year Award proudly bears his name. It is also fitting that he has his own seat in the stand at the Jamie Burley Stadium – a lasting tribute to a man whose impact on this Club will be felt for generations.
There could be no more deserving recipient of this honour. Congratulations, Alan Beer – a true Club legend.

Chrissy Davies
Our second Hall of Fame inductee is one of the most prolific strikers ever to represent the Club at first-team level.
Blessed with the talent to play much higher in the football pyramid following an outstanding youth career, Chrissy nevertheless remained fiercely loyal to the badge. He stood by the Club through some of its most challenging years before playing a key role in our historic first-ever Double-winning season in 2019.
His place in the Club’s history is further cemented by the fact that he is one of only two people to have been involved in all three of the Club’s trophy-winning campaigns over the last 20 years.
Even after announcing his retirement, Chrissy answered the Club’s call on more than one occasion when injury crises left both the first and second teams short of players. Remarkably, he returned as though he had never been away, scoring vital goals when they mattered most.
His commitment to the has extended far beyond his playing days. Chrissy has previously coached within our junior section, helping to develop the next generation of players, and although business commitments eventually meant he had to step away from coaching, he continues to support the Club as a valued sponsor.
Loyal, talented and dedicated, Chrissy Davies has made an outstanding contribution to this football club, making him a thoroughly deserving Hall of Fame inductee.

To mark the continued growth and progression of our club, this season we are proud to introduce the Llanrumney United Hall of Fame.
Each season, we will honour Stags legends whose dedication, commitment and achievements have helped shape the club into what it is today.
It is only fitting that the very first inductee into this prestigious Hall of Fame is none other than Ian Mackie, a true Llanrumney United legend.
Ian gave everything to this club. On the pitch, as both a player and leader, he dominated games in midfield and defence, setting the standard with his commitment, determination and desire to win. He demanded the very highest standards from himself and those around him, inspiring teammates through both his performances and his leadership.
His influence didn’t end when he hung up his boots. Ian went on to enjoy tremendous success as both a coach and manager at junior and senior level. At a time when the club’s junior section was on the brink of disappearing, he revitalised it, laying the foundations for what has since grown into the thriving pathway we see today.
While our Hall of Fame recognises footballing achievements as a player, coach and manager, Ian’s contribution to Llanrumney United goes far beyond the game itself. Such was his commitment to the club that he quite literally helped build our previous home ground with his own bare hands.
Few people have given as much to Llanrumney United as Ian Mackie. His legacy is woven into the fabric of this club, and it is with immense pride that we welcome him as the inaugural inductee into the Llanrumney United Hall of Fame.
Congratulations, Ian Mackie a true legend.

As a testament to our players and our commitment to the pathway we’ve promised our members, we have some exciting news! 🦌
We’re proud to announce the creation of a brand-new third Senior squad, ensuring even more opportunities for our players to continue their journey with the .
We’re also delighted to welcome Dave Hill back home. Dave brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and talent to the club and will be joined by one of our own legends—‘Yes Yes Footers’—who needs no introduction!
This is another huge step forward for our club. We love seeing our players develop, our pathway grow stronger, and our Stags family continue to expand.
The future is bright, and we can’t wait for the new season. It’s going to be something special. 💙🦌
