Rydym yn falch iawn o groesawu Ysgol Glantaf fel Partner Cymunedol cyntaf MAD Hockey.
Yn MAD Hockey, rydym yn credu y dylai datblygiad pobl ifanc drwy chwaraeon hefyd gryfhau’r ysgolion a’r clybiau sy’n eu cefnogi.
Drwy ein Rhaglen Partneriaid Cymunedol, bydd pob sesiwn gymwys y bydd disgyblion Ysgol Glantaf yn ei mynychu gyda MAD yn cyfrannu at Gronfa Effaith Gymunedol yr ysgol. Gellir defnyddio’r gronfa hon i gefnogi offer hoci, datblygiad hyfforddwyr a mentrau sy’n cryfhau hoci yn yr ysgol.

We’re delighted to welcome Ysgol Glantaf as the very first MAD Hockey Community Partner!
At MAD Hockey, we believe that when young people develop through sport, the schools and clubs around them should benefit too.
Through our Community Partner Programme, every qualifying MAD session attended by a Glantaf pupil will contribute to the school’s Community Impact Fund, helping to support hockey equipment, coach development and future opportunities.
It’s a simple idea with a big ambition: develop players, strengthen communities and grow the game together.
A huge thank you to Ysgol Glantaf for leading the way. We can’t wait to see the impact we create together. 💙

From one of his very first sessions with MAD at 8 years old… to being selected for the UK Lions. 🦁
Massive congratulations to Will Thomas on his selection following last weekend’s UK Lions Festival.
Watching players grow over a number of years is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
Will has put in countless hours of work, embraced every challenge and continued to develop his game season after season. This recognition is thoroughly deserved.
It’s also another reminder of something we believe deeply at MAD.
Great player development isn’t about one camp or one tournament. It’s about creating an environment where young people can keep turning up, keep learning and keep enjoying the process. When that happens, exciting opportunities often follow.
Will becomes the fourth player to progress from regular MAD sessions into the UK Lions programme, and we’re incredibly proud to have played a small part in his journey.
Congratulations, Will. We can’t wait to see what comes next. 👏🦁

🐉 Today’s Man of the Match winners 🏑
Congratulations to Seth and Frank, recognised for their outstanding effort and commitment in today’s opening tournament games.
The results didn’t go our way, but the attitude, determination and teamwork were there for all to see. 👏

Week 1 ✅ | MAD 4 Positive Futures
89 young people.
2 sessions.
Countless smiles.
Yesterday we launched our first MAD 4 Positive Futures programme at Fairfield Primary School.
This week was all about CONNECT.
Helping young people build relationships, support one another and experience the power of belonging through sport.
One moment summed up the afternoon perfectly.
Halfway through the session, a pupil asked:
“Where can I go and play hockey after this?”
Less than an hour in and already looking for his next opportunity.
A massive thank you to Carter Lauren for supporting this programme and helping us create positive sporting experiences for young people in our community.
We’re also excited to be linking participants with Penarth Hockey Club, giving them a place to continue their journey beyond these four weeks.
Week 1 done.
