Meet Vinnie & Annie, the horses behind Rupert Hyde. Katie Hyde

🐴 Vinnie
10yr old | 16.3hh | KWPN Warmblood

“My favourite thing about Vinnie is that he is my best friend, he just enjoys hanging out with me.”

Favourite memory: Aston le Walls 3* this summer, producing blinding clear rounds in both show jumping and cross-country despite the heat.

Goal? Finish the season with a 3*L.

🐴 Annie
5yr old | 16.3hh | British Sports Horse

Rupert’s homebred youngster, Party Trick (Dad) and Bling (Mum), making her Annie’s Party Bling at shows!

Favourite memory: Rupert has so many... from playing together as a foal to their fantastic first run at Chard this season.

Goal? Take their time and see where the partnership goes.

“Annie would sleep next to me at night as a foal, she loved cuddles and could almost jump before she could gallop!”

Meet Harley, introducing the partnership behind Rhiannon Davies. 🐴

“He’s the pony to my 11-year-old self. He brings out my inner child!”

Harley is an 8yr old, 16.2hh Irish Draught and Rhi’s first young horse. She’s owned him since he was five.

Favourite memory? With so many lovely memories, Rhi finds it hard to choose just one, but she’s particularly proud of how Harley conducts himself away from home. “No matter the situation, he is an absolute delight to take out.”

Current goal? Qualifying for the Irish Draught class at the D&H Associated Championships and completing their first British Dressage Quest season. They’ve achieved the first and are on track for the Quest semi-finals too!

“It’s been a great year!”

And what does Rhi love most about Harley?

“His attitude. He’s not always straightforward, but he is immense fun.”
