It’s our final game of the Southern Rec Cup, and what better way to finish than facing our rivals, the Cardiff Demons — this time at HOME.

A late start for the Dragons, but the team kept the intensity high throughout. It was a hard‑fought game with strong battles and solid plays from both sides, coming down to a decisive final period where we pushed through and secured the win.

Tonight’s game is dedicated to Andy Downs #16. His commitment, passion, and presence within the hockey community will be missed.

Cardiff Dragons 1–8 Basingstoke Raptors.
Another tough loss against an incredibly well‑drilled and relentless team. Despite going in with just one and a half lines, the Dragons pushed through and kept battling even when the tank was empty.

Basingstoke recognised the effort and commended the team for never giving up — and that fight is something we’ll carry forward.

it was an absolute battle on the ice yesterday, but the Cardiff Dragons narrowly missed out, falling 3-4 to the Cardiff Demons in a thrilling matchup.

The team left everything out there, pushing until the final buzzer. Huge thank you to all the fans who came out to support!

An incredible 7–7 finish for the Cardiff Dragons after digging deep and netting two goals in the final five minutes. Huge respect to the Swindon Steelhawks for a fast, competitive game from start to finish.
