Pirates is all about fun, freedom and time on the water. With games, mini races, skill challenges and themed activities, sailors can expect a fun-filled, confidence-building day on the water with friends.

For more competitive sailors, it's also a chance to mix things up, try different boats, experiment with new skills, and enjoy sailing without the pressure of formal training or racing.

Minimum age: 8 years.

You're welcome to join if you have sailed with us before and/or hold your RYA Level 2 qualification.

Welsh Sailing Dragon Series at Cardiff Bay Yacht Club Cardiff Bay Yacht Club hosted youth and junior sailors from across South Wales for the latest round of the Dragon Series. In response to a high wind forecast racing was postponed to the Sunday.

Hope everyone is ready for the Dragon Series tomorrow!

Our Taster sessions here at CBYC are a great way for them to test the waters before making a full commitment.

Just last week at our Annual Regatta, they proved popular with 17 sailors taking our Dinghies and Powerboats for spin across the Bay!
