🚴 Sponsor Spotlight | Ride Bike Wales 🚴
Today’s sponsor spotlight is on ridebikeswaleltd one of the businesses that got behind the Llandow Revival Series right from the start.
Many riders will know Stu and the team from their years in Pontyclun. Since November last year, they’ve been based in their new shop in Pencoed, just a few miles up the road from Llandow.
As well as being an official Trek stockist, they’ve recently taken on what might be one of the coolest bike brands around right now. We’re not sure whether we’re supposed to say anything yet, so we’ll leave that one there… 👀
Whether you’re looking for a new bike, servicing, advice, or just fancy talking bikes with people who genuinely love cycling, ridebikeswaleltd is well worth a visit.
A huge thank you to Stu and the team for supporting the Llandow Revival Series and helping us bring regular racing back to South Wales.
Without businesses like ridebikeswaleltd , events like the Llandow Revival Series simply wouldn’t happen. If you get the chance, please support the businesses that support our sport.

Four generations. One race venue.
From 6 year old first timers to 67 year old veterans, the Llandow Revival Series brings together four generations of cyclists on the same evening.
A 61 year age gap. One shared passion.
Where else can you see riders separated by more than six decades, all coming together to race at the same event?
This is what grassroots cycling is all about.
Whether you’re racing for the first time or have been pinning on a number for decades, there’s a place for you on the start line.
Entries are open for round 3 taking place on 17th June. Come and be part of the revival.

🔙 Throwback Thursday
A blast from the past…
This former Commonwealth Games rider was a familiar face on the racing scene back in the day.
Now he’s threatening to make a comeback at Llandow. We’re not sure if that’s exciting or concerning. 😅
Who is it?

🔦Llandow Revival Series Sponsor Spotlight
Behind every successful race series is a group of people and businesses willing to back an idea before they know if it will succeed.
There’s a reason there hasn’t been regular racing at Llandow in recent years. Organising races comes with significant costs, from venue hire and first aid cover to the risk of low entries.
While our title sponsor has featured prominently across many of our posts, today we wanted to shine a spotlight on two of the first sponsors who committed financial support and helped make the Llandow Revival Series possible: and Cwmtillery Glass.
Many cyclists and triathletes will already know Luke at Synergy. As a bike fitter, coach and passionate supporter of grassroots cycling, he was as enthusiastic as we were about bringing racing back to Llandow.
You might be wondering what the connection is between Cwmtillery Glass and bike racing. The answer is simple: its Director, Paul Hayward is another passionate cyclist and racer who wanted to help make something positive happen for the sport. We still hope to see Paul on the start line at one of the remaining rounds so he can experience first hand what his sponsorship has helped create (and suffer a bit😀).
Without support from sponsors like these, the series simply wouldn’t have happened.
Thank you both for believing in the vision and helping bring racing back to Llandow. 👏
