After a very hot week across the country we’re back and ready to go starting tomorrow with our Women’s 5 a side.

Here’s this week’s session update!

Please note due to extreme high temperatures our run club and session at Haverfordwest are postponed.
Our indoor session will also be far too hot for players, volunteers and staff.
Unfortunately these things are out of our control and the safety of our players and others is paramount.

Please make sure you drink plenty, apply sun cream and wear a hat if outdoors this week taking part in our other sessions.

Sessions subject to change on a safety basis this week. Please keep an eye out for anymore updates.

The Welsh team heading to Mexico for World Cup football Street Football Wales will give footballers the chance to play at the Homeless World Cup in Mexico after almost going bust.

Our Organisational Growth grant from Comic Relief and Welsh Government is helping our organisation grow by funding wellbeing sessions. These sessions create space for players to learn techniques to cope and manage stress, as well as building resilience.

For those who haven’t seen this short documentary following Street Football Wales’ very own Marie, showcasing her journey and battle all the way to representing Wales at last years Homeless World Cup in Oslo, here’s your chance!

Chapter Arts Centre will be hosting the film makers evening on the 6th July with a short Q&A. There will be other films being shown that evening also, it’s such a great way to support other local artists and films in Cardiff.
