so my aim is to get people out walking or swimming & enjoy the beauty on their doorstep, with the added incentive of homemade cake! ��� what's not to like! I've always loved walking; going on adventures, but in 2015 I stepped it up a gear to train for the Thames path challenge 100k in 24 hours. I came in just under that , but the hours of training walks really gave me a new look at Kent.

What to do when it’s 46degrees in the car on your return after 4 classes back to back and there’s a 32 mile detour due to road closures on your way home!!!! 🤬🥵☀️🔥And then you get to the beach and there’s more people than you’ve ever seen plus several emergency vehicles cos there’s a CAR in the harbour… when will they realise that the slipway gets slippery?! Oh and then I lost my favourite sunglasses in the water 😎 😵💫and the ice cream van was SHUT! 🙄

What a lovely day. Gorgeous early swim at Dover despite the low tide and unexpected waves! Then just caught the solar eclipse as I left work and home in time to catch the sunset 🌅
