Plough Women’s FC

Amazing first ever friendly against Baypoint Development Team yesterday. We won 2-1.

All feeling anxious and excited at the beginning due to some who have not played for over 15 years and some brand new to the game.

Some amazing football all round, but the defence held it together. Must say, they are mustard. Shona took a knock in first half which ended in a penalty. Lesley rocked up to take it and smashed it home. 💥 1st ever goal for the newly formed Plough Women FC. We went on retaining the ball for the majority of the game, which then Lesley whacked home another beaut. Second half unfortunately Baypoint got a goal back. But the girls did well!
