And just like that, my masters is finished. I've spent the week at St Mary's presenting and defending my work, and it's been one hell of a ride. I'm so thankful and appreciative of the opportunity to undertake a Masters in Strength and Conditioning. There's many people to thank, tutors, supervisors, but none more so than who has stood by and supported me through all the deadlines, heavy workloads and copious amounts of reading I've had to do, and I could not have managed it without her. β₯οΈ

A bit of athlete appreciation for .h1711
There's a lot to be said about Joe. First and foremost, he is one of the kindest and most genuine people you'll meet, which makes me even happier to celebrate him.
Since starting S&C with him last October, Joe have put in more effort than anyone else, and due to his commitment, consistency, and sheer determination to improve, he has had a season which any athlete would class as memorable. He received his first callus to the England Boxe Lacrosse team, representing them in Prague. He had an undefeated club season, winning multiple leagues during the club's first season together. Then he topped it off by being voted 'Captain's Player' for the season too, showing that all of his effort and growth are not only being noticed by me, but by the players and teams he plays with too.
I look forward to continuing my work with Joe, and I cannot wait to see where his hardworking and dedication will take him in the future! Olympics 26?! π€π

10 weeks ago Tom came to me looking for a PT, citing that he wanted to get fit again but that he had issues with back and hip pain. During his first session he managed to squat 70kg for 1 and said that his back couldn't take any more.
Fast forward 9 sessions and here he is squatting 110kg for 5 reps on his 4th working set, having had no hip or back issues for at least a month. Tom is a prime example of what you can achieve with a strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to your goals.
If you are suffering, whether it's age or injury related, never hesitate to ask for help! π

Was great to have a busy cycle class this morning. Loads of regulars and only a couple of bikes to spare. Everyone worked really well and put in loads of effort, it was great to see and I can't wait to push everyone again in the next class π

Time for a relaxing New Year's day walk with the cherub and the better half... cherub clearly found the new carrier comfortable as she was snoozing before we left the house π€£π€£
