💙 TODAY’S THE DAY 💙

Tonight, Stand By Me will be heading to The Puzzle Room for a very special evening in memory of Alex.

This isn’t counselling.
It isn’t a workshop.
And nobody has to talk about anything they don’t want to.

It’s simply a group of blokes getting together, having a laugh, taking on the escape rooms, throwing some paint around, enjoying some food and spending a few hours in good company.

Food is being provided by Stand By Me and Heath Hayes Community Coffee Shop.

But behind tonight is something important.

Sometimes one conversation, one laugh, one person sitting beside you can make more difference than we ever realise.

Tonight is about Alex.
It’s about friendship.
It’s about looking out for each other.
And it’s about reminding men that they never have to face everything alone.

A massive thank you to The Puzzle Room for opening their doors to us and making tonight possible.

We hope there’ll be plenty of laughs tonight, plenty of terrible escape-room decisions 😂 and, most importantly, a few good conversations.

Tomorrow is our Reset evening.

It’s a free event we’re running in partnership with Stand By Me , a men’s mental health group, and we still have some spaces available.

I just want to make one thing clear — there’s absolutely no pressure to come and talk about anything.

You can come and have a chat, meet some people, do an escape room, have a go at Paint Splatter, or simply just spend a bit of time around other people. It’s completely up to you.

If you know someone who you think could benefit from being in a relaxed environment where reaching out might feel a little easier, please let them know about it.

And if you could share this post, I’d really appreciate it. It might reach someone who needs to see it.

🎅 A little Christmas sneak peek…

You may have noticed a wooden hut starting to appear in the corner of The Puzzle Room recently… 👀

Well, it’s not another escape room this time 😂

We’ve started building our Christmas Grotto, ready for the big man himself when Santa comes to visit us later this year! 🎄🎅

It’s still very much a work in progress, but we thought we’d give you a tiny glimpse of what we’re creating.

Santa visits are already available to book, including our Children’s, SEND and Pet sessions.

Sometimes life gets heavy.

Sometimes your head’s full, you’ve had a crap week, or life just seems to be throwing everything at you at once.

And sometimes you just need a reset.

We’re really pleased to be joining forces with The Puzzle Room Cannock for The Reset, a completely FREE evening for men.

This special evening will be held in memory of Alex, with the blessing of his family. ❤️

There has already been an incredible amount of support and fundraising locally for Alex’s family, so we wanted to do something different.

This isn’t about raising money. It’s about bringing men together.

💬 And time to just sit, chat and be around other blokes

There’s no pressure to talk about your mental health. You don’t have to share your story. You don’t even have to be struggling.

🔨 A LITTLE HEADS-UP… AND A LITTLE TEASE 👀

Now the school holidays are over, we’re going to be closed on Mondays during school term time.

The truth is… after a very busy summer, I’ve decided I probably should have at least one day a week where I’m not at The Puzzle Room😂

So Mondays are officially becoming my day to switch off, catch up on life and hopefully remember what the outside world looks like!

Next week is slightly different though…

We’ll also be CLOSED ON TUESDAY as we’ve got some building work happening behind the scenes. 👷‍♂️🛠️

And yes… it’s all part of getting ready for the next exciting thing coming to The Puzzle Room! 👀

So next week:
