BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP BRONZE! 🥉

A huge congratulations to our client Polly Polly Bastin , who has finished third at the UKDFBA British Finals.

Polly began her journey with us through resting metabolic rate and body-composition testing, and has returned regularly throughout her competition preparation to objectively track how her body was responding.

After finishing second in two regional competitions, Polly went into the British Finals not expecting to make the podium.

But she did exactly that, coming away with a fantastic bronze medal.

Testing can provide valuable information and help guide the process, but Polly has done the difficult bit: months of disciplined training, careful preparation and incredible consistency.

A brilliant achievement and thoroughly deserved.

Congratulations, Polly! 👏🥉

A great first session at our Friday Running Masterclass last night, led by our physio and international athlete, Henry Fisher.

We started with a bit of teaching, followed by some fun and practical exercises in the gym, before finishing with a relaxed, social run.

Would you be interested in a weekly Friday evening running masterclass at Sportstest?

Henry, our Sportstest physiotherapist and elite international runner, is exploring a new weekly session combining a fun group run with practical education to help you become a better, more resilient runner.

Each masterclass could cover a different aspect of running, including pacing, training periodisation, running drills, strength and conditioning, injury prevention and more.

This would be practical, evidence-informed and suitable for runners who want to understand the reasons behind their training, not simply collect more miles.

Henry may even persuade a few of his professional running friends to join us for guest appearances.
