Apparently a Deadly Mile ruck wasn’t quite enough for one day… 😂

So afterwards, I joined forces with my fellow coaches from Neil Marsh Health & Fitness to take on the Women’s Relay.

And we only went and WON!! 🏆💜

This one was all about teamwork.

We worked together. We backed each other. We shouted, encouraged and supported each other through every part of it. When one of us was working, the rest of us were right there behind her.

Tired legs, tired bodies… but absolutely no shortage of Purple Army energy. 💜

That’s what I love about this team. We don’t just coach together — we train together, compete together and genuinely want to see each other do well.

From taking on my own ridiculous challenge to standing alongside these incredible women and finishing the day with a WIN… what a way to end an already unforgettable event.

We are coaches.
We are teammates.
We are THE PURPLE ARMY. 💜🏆

And when the Purple Army joins forces… apparently we’re pretty dangerous. 😂🔥

💀 DEADLY DOZEN JUDGES WANTED💀

ANY full OR half day judges that want to be part of the first EVER World Championships on the weekend of the 5th & 6th September will be a complimentary track race to use before the end of the 2026 campaign.

When Deadly Gross was first announced, I was straight into the Purple Army group with...

"I'm doing this...who's in?"

What followed was weeks of hesitation, persuasion, planning, injuries, re-planning, organising and, if we're being honest...a fair bit of fart arsing about. 😂 It even earned itself the nickname "The Curse of the Gross."

But somehow, at the eleventh hour, it all came together.

Myself, Coach Sammi, Dom and Devon stood on that start line...and we finished it.

🥇 Gold Mori medals.
🏅 9th overall.
🥉 3rd in our age category.

The results are brilliant, but that's not what I'll remember most.

I'll remember four people genuinely enjoying the challenge. Supporting each other, checking in on each other, digging deep when it got tough and staying true to what the Purple Army is all about.

No missed reps.
No cutting corners.
No shortcuts.

Just honesty, grit and a group of mates seeing what they were capable of.

We crossed the finish line absolutely buzzing, completely exhausted and a little emotional. The conversations afterwards were all...

"I loved it...but I probably won't do it again."

Fast forward to the release of next year's date...

I definitely wasn't as prepared as I should have been as I'd manage to read last year's rules, so ended up constantly asking my poor judge what I was supposed to be doing...🤦🏼‍♀️...but the guys over at Foundry. where amazing, so welcoming, supportive and encouraging!

Will absolutely be back for some training sessions with these awesome girls.....
