Tuesday night at the Meadows 🌿🏃

Huge well done to everyone who came along last night! Both the 3-mile and 4-mile groups were absolutely amazing, especially in those humid conditions.

This week’s route took us across the meadows to Haslingfield and back. Despite the rising temperatures, everyone put in a great effort and completed the route brilliantly.

🩵💙 Another fantastic week with South Cambridge Striders! 👟🌟

Tuesday saw our Couch to 5K group continuing to make brilliant progress, it’s amazing to see everyone growing in confidence week by week. Meanwhile, our 3 and 4 mile groups enjoyed a lovely run around Grantchester in the evening sunshine. 🌳

On Thursday, our new speedwork group absolutely smashed their session at Trumpington Meadows, great energy, effort and teamwork from everyone involved! ⚡

And this morning, we rounded off the week with a beautiful run around Haslingfield. A great way to start the day! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

And a huge well done to Dom, who ran the 20mile Skipton Skedaddle this weekend - an amazing achievement 🤩

🩵💙 Another great set of runs for South Cambridge Striders this week!

On Tuesday evening, our Couch to 5K group continued to go from strength to strength — it’s fantastic to see the progress of everyone involved 👏

Meanwhile, the 3 and 4 mile groups made the most of the beautiful countryside around Grantchester, enjoying some stunning routes and great company along the way.

Then on Sunday, we headed out towards Harston Mill and the Shelfords, taking in more scenic miles and keeping the momentum going.

Brilliant running all round — it’s great to see such strong turnouts 🩵💙

🏅 Medal Monday 🏅🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Huge well done to all our incredible members who have been out racing and running over the past two weekends! 👏

Last weekend saw brilliant efforts at the Brighton Marathon, Boston Marathon and the Cambourne 10K, with fantastic performances all round – a huge achievement by everyone involved! 💙

This weekend kept the momentum going with runners taking on the Biomedical Campus 10K, Northstowe Half Marathon, Manchester Marathon 🩵💙

A massive congratulations as well to our Couch to 5K runners who officially graduated at Fulbourn Hospital parkrun on Saturday – what an incredible milestone, and the start of many more miles ahead! 🎉

And of course, a big shoutout to our Sunday club runners who smashed a strong 12K out to Haslingfield ☀️

Recover well and celebrate your achievements – you’ve all earned it! 🏅

Our runs moved back to the meadows on Tuesday after the winter at TCC.

We had our regular 4 mile group, but we also introduced a brand new 5k group. A lot of the attendees were graduates of our winter couch to 5k programme who have done an amazing job training over the wet, windy and miserable winter months.

We also kickstarted a new couch to 5k programme and everyone did amazing (there is still time for new people to join us)!

🩵💙 🐄 A moo-velous morning for a run ☀️🐄

A lovely 12km out this morning for the Striders, heading from Trumpington up to Lammas Land, along the Backs, and looping home through Grantchester Meadows 🌿

Sunshine all the way, great company, and even a few curious cows keeping an eye on us along the route 🐄

A brilliant group of Striders headed out for a 10km loop around the telescopes, enjoying the blue skies and fresh air, great company, and some stunning views along the way.

A huge congratulations as well to everyone who took part in the Cambridge Boundary Run – an amazing effort and a great achievement. We’re proud of all the Striders who represented the club! 💪
