Cambridge University Taekwondo (CUTKD) is one of Cambridge’s leading martial arts clubs open to university students and Cambridge professionals. Each week, everyone from complete beginners to black belts learn kicking and punching techniques as well as hapkido-based self-defence skills. CUTKD studies Kukkiwon-style taekwondo and welcomes ITF-style practitioners too.

Easter Grading 2026 🥋
Congratulations to everyone who completed gradings at the end last term! The dedication to some (very) hot training sessions has definitely paid off!

Congratulations to everyone who competed in BSTF nationals last Autumn!!
Especially those who went for the first time, medalled, or came just to help out CUTKD by coaching or as umpires!! We came home with both an impressive and hard-won medal haul, and a lot more experience both with poomsae and sparring as a group!

Taekwondo/mountaineering social this Thursday (27th)! Starting from 8pm in Nanna mex (Nanna Mexico), bring anything but a cup to drink out of!!

We have a swap with Judo this coming Saturday (15th), from 4:40-6:30! It's a two hour long session. One half Taekwondo, one half Judo! Please do come along to try out some Judo basics and to show off our TKD to the Judo club!
We will have a social with the Judo club following the session in the Granta from about 7pm!
